ਮੇਰੀ ਖੁਦ ਦੀ ਰਾਇ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੂਲ ਨਿਵਾਸੀ ਭਾਸ਼ਾ 'ਚ ਉਸ ਥਾਂ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਜ਼ਰੂਰ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹੋਵੇ, ਜਿੱਥੇ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਬਣਨ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਸਰੀ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਮੂਲਨਿਵਾਸੀ ਕਬੀਲਿਆਂ ਸੈਮੀਹਾਮੂ, ਕਵਾਂਟਲਨ ਅਤੇ ਕੈਟਜ਼ੀ ਦੀ ਜ਼ਮੀਨ 'ਤੇ ਉਸਰਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ। ਸੈਮੀਹਾਮੂ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ 'ਤੇ ਮਾਲ ਬਣਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ, ਕਵਾਂਟਲਨ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ 'ਤੇ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਬਣੀ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ, ਹੁਣ ਕੈਟਜ਼ੀ ਕਬੀਲੇ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਣ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜਾ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ।

My personal views are that It should include aboriginal name of this land. Surrey resides on the unceded traditional territory of three land based communities: Semihamoo first nation, Katzie and Kwantlen first nation. We have mall named after Semihamoo and university named after Kwantlen, Its time to recognize Ketzie.
